Timbow at Blogger

It might sound technical but it's really very easy to execute - it's just a question of filling in urls and account names in the right places through feedburner and buzzboost then pasting  a bit of code into your html. The tumblr feed is even simpler, in fact it couldn't get much easier.

How it's Done

It's a few weeks ago I did this but I think I remember it right:

1. google's feedburner wil make an rss feed from your blogger blog
2. Then use buzzboost also from google to convert the feed to html that goes directly into your GetSimple page
3. You can style the buzzboost feed with css edits if you want. I haven't tried this

Pretty straightforward. I don't know how the SEO would work though, and if you want access on your site to a lot of archived posts I am not sure how you would do that. The good thing it is a fully featured blog and as easy to use as it gets.

Total Success 

It's pleasing when things go right. I don't see any problem with this blogger.com feed in GetSimple. The youtube video doesn't behave like a responsive image but when did they ever? I could take a look at the css for better styling all round, but no reason to cry at all I think.

The commenting system obviously doesn't work on the remote site.

Some fine England Rugby clips including Manu Tuilagi running laughing through four Welshmen to score under the posts.

Okay, so i have created a new blog at google Blogger. It's called Timbow at Blogger. there won't ever be much of interest here because this blog's primary purpose is to test the rss import function of the GS Blog
